• Hi:

My site’s current RSS feed for the blog is at [ redundant link removed ]. When syndicating my feed to other people’s sites, I want to remove some items from my blog post (for example in the linked blog post at [ redundant link removed ], I have two boxes – an embedded gravity form for subscribers which should be removed and also the request for a pdf of the article.).

Is there a plugin that allows me to modify my blog’s feed when I give others my feed to syndicate my blog posts?

Thanks for all the help I can get.

    Regards,

    Shobha Ponnappa

Most well-behaved syndicators (aggregators) can and do cut off the inbound RSS content short and then refer the reader back to the origin site to finish reading.

You can also change your feeds to excerpts which would normally stop the below the fold content from being syndicated.

    Dashboard –> Settings –> Reading

    Find this line

For each post in a feed, include

    and select ‘Summary’.
