# Modifying Attachment Page

 * In my posts that have pictures clicking on the image takes you to the attachment
   page, as it should.
 * However if you click on the image on the **attachment page **it takes you to 
   the image file itself. IE: [http://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Triple-Dog-Dare-1024×788.jpg](http://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Triple-Dog-Dare-1024×788.jpg)
 * I’m trying to modify the attachment page so that clicking on the image does NOT
   take you to the image file itself. Everything I’ve tried seems to break by sidebar(
   s).
 * Does this make sense? Can anyone post a modification? Please!
