# Modify lightbox template

 * I see that it’s possible to modify the template for simple thumbnails layout,
   by copying the relevant php file, putting it in your theme in nggallery subdirectory.
   I couldn’t find any information on modifying the template for the lightbox though.
   Is this possible?

 * Theoretically, this should be possible as NextGen’s structure is modular and 
   you should be able to add your own rewrites to **\wp-content\ngg\modules\photocrati-
   lightbox** copying over and customizing the modules from:
   **nextgen-gallery\products\
   photocrati_nextgen\modules\lightbox**
 * Alternately, you can simply enqueue your own lightbox ( via a plugin let’s say)
   and disable NextGen’s from** “Other Options -> Lightbox Effects”** selecting 
   None for **“What lightbox would you like to use?”**.
