modify div masthead in twentyten

    Hi,

    I would like to reduce the white space around the twenty ten theme (you know the bit that surrounds the header image and the content) but I’m having difficulty finding it in the style.css.

    I can see the masthead in the header.php but that only seems to relate to the top bit of white space above the header image.

    please help!

    White space on top of the image: padding in #header
    bottom of the image: padding in #main
    left and right sides: padding in #wrapper

    Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme. Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

    Thanks to you both I will give this a try, I am new to CSS so on a bit of a learning curve!

    Thanks Esmi, I am using a child theme already for that very reason.
