OK I’m not an expert by any means, but I’m sure this is possible…I just don’t know how to go about doing it, or if there’s a plugin available that will do it for me.
On one of my sites (I start with the Twenty Eleven theme for all my sites, and then create a child theme with modifications), I want to create a section where readers can review items. Each post will be an item and its description, and I want the comment form to have several fields (to make writing a review easier).
So, let’s say I write a post on uhhh the Chevrolet El Camino, and I put it in the Category “Product Reviews.” I would like for readers to see (and be able to fill out) the following comment form:
Do you own this product? (radio button yes/no)
When did you buy it? (text field)
Where did you buy it? (text field)
Would you recommend it? (checkboxes yes/no/maybe)
What about it do you like? (text field)
What about it do you dislike? (text field)
Anything else to say? (text field)
(as opposed to the traditional one-big-text-field comment form)
I want to leave the comment forms on the rest of the site (for all other posts that aren’t in the Category “Product Reviews” normal.
Is that possible? Is there a plugin that can do that for me?
