• Since the most recent upgrade, I have one site (that I know of), where when you get a warning message that reads:

    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/PLUG_IN_NAME/readme.txt

And you used to be able to click on “see how file has changed” or “view the file”, it would open a page to show the differences. When I click on it now, it just redirects to our home page (which is where our 404’s redirect to).

It also won’t let me “ignore until the file changes.” Same redirect.

    Any clue what’s going on?

  • Is this with the latest version (5.3.12)?

    Thanks,

Yes. The plugin I was trying to do this with, where I was getting the error, updated their files yesterday. Once I ran the update all seemed to be working find again. So, hopefully it’s solved now. 🙂
