# Modification a function in a plugins in function.php

 * Hi,
    I am looking for any way to update a object function which is located inside
   the plugin using function.php or in custom plugin file.
 * **This is my problem, in details. **
    I had created a custom field using the **
   Types 1.7.11** plugin. And I am displaying using **Advanced Custom Fields 4.4.2**.
   I have a problem in displaying as it is displaying **the key of value(integers)**
   and **not value**.
 * I found a solution. But I have to update a object function in plugin file. This
   will affect the updation of the plugin.
 * Is there any way to update the function file or the new custom plugin file where
   I could re-declare the function?

 * redeclare the function may cause problems. can you modify your template and use
   your own function to display the values instead?
