    Hello.
Several months ago, I posted a question and provided an example, the URL of one of my pages.
The post has not received any useful responses, and in fact has now involved my helping someone else with a different issue.
The URL is therefore useless in this post.
I have no problem with the post staying up, but I would really appreciate it if you would remove the URL for me, as the URL is for a password protected page. I should not have posted it as an example because obviously I do not want visitors to it. 🙂
Since I don’t want to include the URL here, please let me know what to do to get the URL taken out of the post.
    Thanks so much!

It’s a bit hard to tell without a link to the post.

To be clear, as a publicly searchable database, all threads essentially contribute to the the whole of WordPress knowledge. And, it’s generally assumed that if you’re posting on a public forum, you’re aware that what you post is indeed public and will be indexed.

As such, we can only remove URLs if they represent a valid safety or security concern.

With that said, please let us know which post, and we’ll be happy to take a look.

As that actually *is* the example the thread is based on, it seems rather valuable to me. I don’t see any safety or security risk.
