Support » Plugin: Frontend Uploader » Moderation of Uploads in dedicated folder

  • Hi All!

    Thanks for this great plugin.

    Just one question:
Is there an opportunity to decide on a dedicated upload-folder where uploaded images are put after they have been accepted by the moderator?
If not, do you know a plugin that would support this use case?

As a background: I want to use one folder in my /uploads structure to be synchronised with a diashow tool on my desktop computer. Pictures that have not been approved shall not appear in that folder and be thereby presented in the diashow.

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

There’s no option like that, to moderate it you have to upload it somewhere. That’s what the plugin is for.

Also, what you’re trying to achieve is potentially dangerous even with necessary precautions. You can never know if some new vulnerability is discovered and exploited.

    Thanks for your reply.

What I want to achieve is simply to move images into another folder once they are approved.
It is fine for me if the images are uploaded into the media folders before approval.

Is there a simple way to add this directive somewhere to the functionality?

    Many thanks!
