Moderation approval

    Hi,

    I am trying to approve a post in moderation, but it is not approving. This is my first time using the forum. I had 3 posts to approve today by the same user. Two of the posts I was able to approve, but one of them will not change to approved. When I push the approve button, it goes to the same blank screen the previous two changed as if it was complete, but it does not move from unapproved to approved. Please help. http://www.ex2next.com

    Hi mybizmail30,
    In very rare cases, we encourage such problem with current 1.3.1 version. We’re currently fixed this issue in upcoming release (v1.3.2). This is a post specific issue, so there should not be such problem with other topic and posts. please wait for the next version release. At the moment the only way is setting “0” the value of “status” field for this post in Hosting Service > cPanel > phpMyAdmin > _wpforo_posts table.

    I have the same problem, but solution ‘wpforo_posts table’=’0’ Does not help 🙁

    You should disable wpForo Spam Control, the option value 0 doesn’t 100% cover all suspensions. You can disable Spam Control in Dashboard > Forums > Tools admin page.

    Unfortunately, no success

    I’m sure something is missing or wrong, that’s not possible. Maybe you’ve unchecked the option “can pass moderation” in Usergroup (e.g. registered) settings or you still check the old topics. You should wait for new topics and posts. Old entries will not become approved automatically you should approve manually in Dashboard > Forums > Moderation admin page, just click on approve link under the topic.

    ‘can pass moderation’ was the solution. The forum running! Thanks! 🙂
