[Modality] top level menu with headings?

Is there a way to set up a menu item which is only a header for the submenus below it, and which goes nowhere by itself? For example, a menu item named “about” with three or four submenu items below it. Clicking on “about” goes nowhere, but it does show the three items below like this:

About
– About Me
– About my wife
– About my kids

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
