Modal Window Styling Changed Significantly

    Hello,

    The modal window for my direct stripe payments is no longer properly styled. It doesn’t look like the Stripe Style anymore. It’s inheriting the orange from the Stripe button on my page and I really need this the modal window styled back to the way it was. Even the modal window size and shape has changed along with the form fields. What happened???? We didn’t do anything differently on our website for this drastic change to happen. Please help.

    Hello @whyknott,

    Thank you for using Direct Stripe.

    The design change is normal, the old modal form from Stripe was deprecated and replaced by the Stripe checkout page that requires a redirection.
    The purpose of Direct Stripe was to allow a quick payment gateway without leaving current website. The design for the new form will be improved in next versions.

    For some reason my customer cannot checkout. All it says is “error” in black small text when he goes to submit payment. I turned on test mode and I’m getting the same error. Can you please tell me how to fix it?

    I upgraded to the latest version and ran a test in test mode and I received a payment successful message on the page so I’ll just wait to see if the client experiences any problems and report back.
