How does this work? The docs don’t give any guidance?

Can I make a modal popup from a link in the menu?

You can use the shortcode [login-with-ajax] or [lwa] and template tag login_with_ajax() with these options :

How? Where do all these template tags go?

I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually, but why is it so hard to get answers from the actual docs?

documentation takes time, something which I’m short on 🙂 hope to add more in the future when time permits

however, the terminologies you’re unclear on are normal WP terms –

Thanks Marcus, sorry if I sounded a bit flustered, was getting it in the ear from a client because of a conflict between s2Member and LWA after the last update (you probably saw my other posts).

I have found a good solution that allows me to keep LWA and give s2 the boot. I have always hated that plugin, so, good riddance.

I have always liked LWA, so, hooray!

Anyway, thanks for the links. I’d found them before, but part of the trouble is that the framework I am using doesn’t really work in the vanilla WP way, and it meant figuring out how to incorporate it into my child theme using framework specific hooks.

All is well back in the land of nod, keep up the good work.

You can close this ticket if you wish, thanks again.

    Cheers

    So, Marcus,

Can I make a modal popup from a link in the menu?

    Thanks, Ron
