• Hi, I recently installed this on my site and it seems to be a great modal plugin aside from the fact that I can’t seem to find where to set how the modal actually appears when it’s launched…I’ve set mine up so that it will appear when my visitors click and link and it does, but unfortunately it seems to be loading at the bottom of the page and clicking the link to open it takes them back up to the top of the page for some reason. You can see the overlay once you click the link, but since it jumps up to the top of the page and the modal loads at the bottom, it’s not entirely obvious what’s happening. Is there a way to force the popup to load at the top of the page since it seems to be taking me back up to the top when I click the link anyways? I’m using Safari on iOS on the iPad – since the page I’m working on is iPad-specific, I’m not actually sure how it behaves on a PC browser. I just need it to render properly on iPad. Thanks for any help!

Have you tried switching the rendering library between Colorbox and Fancybox in the Modal Dialog settings?

I know that light boxes typically don’t render well on mobile devices. Since the code to actually render the lightbox is not my own, I don’t have a lot of control over how it will render on mobile devices. If you find a good lightbox screen that works well on mobile devices and that offer, I can consider adding support for it in the Modal dialog plugin.
