# mod_deflate error

 * Hi, I am using Hummingbird for the first time and getting the following error:
 * gzip is not working properly:
 * – Your server may not have the “deflate” module enabled (mod_deflate for Apache,
   ngx_http_gzip_module for NGINX)
    – Another plugin may be interfering with the
   configuration
 * I have checked with my host and mod_deflate is enabled. I also disabled all plugins,
   but still get the error. Can you help?

    Thanks for your reply, yes we have tried that several times. The site
   is on a test server at: [http://79.170.40.160/fiskuk-test.com/](http://79.170.40.160/fiskuk-test.com/)

 * We are testing a possible fix for the error. The upcoming update will resolve
   the issue.
