Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I visited your website at https://rollingstonesdata.com/ and I could see a popup display on your homepage that wasn’t created with MailPoet.
Have you disabled the MailPoet popup? If yes and you’d like to continue with the PopUp you’ve created that’s fine.
But if you would still want to use the MailPoet PopUp, we can help you fix the issue you’re experiencing.
Kindly let us know.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Have a great day!
Hello there and thanks for your reply. Yes I stopped running the Mailpoet popup because, once again, the “close” (X) button wouldnshow up on mobile view, so it was impossible to close the Mailpoet popup, which visitors wouldn’t like. Should I run it again remporarily so you can view it? (If so, I hope I don’t have to run it for too long before I get a solution) Should I send you somne code instead? Please advise asap and I’ll do. Thanks again!
Hello again @dartford5
You can create a separate page then activate and edit the popup to only display on that particular page. Then send us the URL of that page so that we can take a look at the PopUp and send the code that’ll fix the “x” button issue.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Have a great day!
Hi again @geraltrivia,
Since I don't know how to create a separate page to activate the popup (meaning without stopping the current one I'm using, which replaced the Mailpoet one), here's the CSS code I used. Let me know if that helps. Otherwise can you please let me know how to create a separate page? Thanks again in advance for your help!
/* form */
.mailpoet_form {
}
form {
margin-bottom: 0;
}
h1.mailpoet-heading {
margin: 0 0 20px;
}
p.mailpoet_form_paragraph.last {
margin-bottom: 5px;
}
/* columns / .mailpoet_column_with_background { padding: 10px; } / space between columns */
.mailpoet_form_column:not(:first-child) {
margin-left: 20px;
}
/* input wrapper (label + input) */
.mailpoet_paragraph {
line-height:20px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
}
/* labels */

You can create a page in WordPress by going to WP Admin > Pages and clicking Add New. Make sure to give the page a title so you can identify it later.
Then, you can set the MailPoet PopUp form to only display in the the page you’ve just created in the PopUp Form settings as shown in this screenshot:
