Support » Plugin: WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly » mobile version displays posts instead of pages

  • Used WordPress to build a site composed of pages. Homepage is specified correctly in settings. No “posts page” is even selected under Settings > Reading. Created a Menu and added all pages to it. Selected and saved this menu correctly.

Site is a Directory including “items” grouped under “categories.” Home page is simply links to the different categories.

With WPTouch activated, visitors arrive correctly at the home page. However, a click on any internal link embedded in the homepage leads to a page full of latest “posts” instead of the correct destination URL. Only way to access the other pages is through the mobile drop-down menu. If I deactivate WPTouch and access the site using Safari on iPhone, the links all work correctly.

  • If the pages are standard WordPress pages, there shouldn’t be an issue. If they are custom post types, however, the free version of WPtouch is not able to accommodate those and clicking links will lead to the default home page.

Post a url where the issue is occurring so we may review please.
