1. Some CSS still needs to be overwritten with your turquoise colour. Try adding this to your custom CSS:

2. I looked at your site at various screen sizes but I’m not seeing any obvious issues.

3. I didn’t experiencing any loading issues with your site on my mobile device. That sounds more like a connection issue rather than a theme issue; you could try a different network to see if it’s consistent.

I’d suggest you use the Site Logo feature in Sela instead of the custom header, which is designed to be a background image. The Site Logo is designed specifically for logos, scales at small sizes and won’t be cropped.
Since you have Jetpack active, you can upload a logo in the Customizer’s Site Logo, Tagline and Logo panel.
Thank you that helped. Is there anyway to decrease the amount of white space between the logo and the menu bar? It looks a bit too spaced for my liking.
For the best results, I’d suggest you crop as much whitespace at the edges of your image as possible in a graphics program and reuploading it:

See if that does the trick; you’ll get better display on small screens by removing the whitespace in the image itself. If you still find there’s too much space above the menu I can help you further at that point.
