Support » Theme: Mantra » Mobile theme not responsive

  • When viewing my blog on a smartphone the theme does not appear responsive at all. The text is actually cut off completely, and there is no ability to scroll to the side so it makes posts unreadable.

I should mention that I am trying to use this theme alongside my desktop theme, using a plugin called device theme switcher, so the mantra theme is technically not activated. It is however definitely being used on smartphpnes, just not displayed correctly.

    Help?

  • Check out WPtouch plugin. It uses a different method than traditional responsive techniques. I’ve had much more consistent results.

Thanks. Thats actually what I’m using right now, but I have a couple of issues with it (mostly I need rtl language support).

Have you tried getting in touch with the developers?

Yeah, I posted in their support forum. Meanwhile, I’m looking for a better solution. The mantra theme was recommended to me and it supports rtl languages.

My presentation page is almost okay (problem with the header image and title overlapping, despite being fine on laptop) but all the remaining pages are unreadable on my android phone.

Unless I have something wrong, my site doesn’t render at all properly on my android set. Using v.2.06. Presentation page is like desktop now (lots of scrolling) and the other pages are missing chunks.

I love this theme, but it is definitely not responsive when sliders are used. I used Mantra columns and tried 2 different plug-in sliders. Pages looked great on laptop but were all messed up on Android. I am seeking a truly responsive theme that works with plug-in sliders.

eip, you’d better search for responsive slider plugins then.
Themes do not control how plugins display their content, it’s the plugin’s responsibility to include their proper responsive CSS.
