[Resolved] Mobile solution for Atahualpa (3.7.12)

  • I’m building on site http://wordpress.iclon.nl/vdonlmtv/
On this site, after logon the menu depends on your role.

Q1: Who can advice me a good mobile solution/plugin for this theme 3.7.12.
Q2: Isthere an integrated mobile solution on the roadmap for this very nice theme?
Q3: Will it be a problem for mobile solutions that the menu changes and depends on the role of the user after logging in?

  • It would be very difficult, if not impossible, to make Atahualpa responsive because the theme is based on a table layout instead of DIVs, and tables are notorious for not being responsive.

If you are looking for a mobile solution, I would strongly recommend looking at Montezuma, which was created by the same developer, BytesForAll. There’s quite a bit of effort, of course, in converting over to a different theme, but it will be worth it in the long run. I think the hardest part of the conversion is learning to use the virtual templates and CSS files instead of the many option fields. I’ve already converted two sites over from Atahualpa to Montezuma, and you can view a number of sites built using Montezuma on the showcase thread.

Ok, clear, thank you for your reply and explanation
