 * I seem to only be able to view the mobile site once I’ve scrolled to the very
   bottom and clicked on “view full site”
 * Is there a setting I need to fix in order for anyone accessing from mobile to
   see the actual site right away and not some weird blue wordpress looking theme?

 * I see that in the meantime you changed the theme, but from what you mentioned,
   I think the problem was that you were using Jetpacks mobile view mode. That doesn’t
   have anything to do with the theme, but with the option in the plugin.
