Hi, I’m a complete beginner with this kind of thing and have something of a mess on my hands. I’m working on a site for a future comic (eightspaces.com) and while it’s starting to take shape on the computer, it looks like garbage on mobile.

At first everything was fine, but the whole thing fell to pieces when I added the widgets to the left and right of the comic in the spaces Comic Easel gave me. I’ll need those widgets, so I can’t just take them back off. On mobile all the sidebars pile onto the left side (even the one that’s supposed to be to the right of the comic), plus the navigation, blog posts, and footer are all squished into the left. I think it has something to do with the comic scaling to the browser window, but beyond that I’m lost. Also the background color and header don’t show up for some reason?

Like I said, I’m a complete beginner. I’ve been trying to google solutions for days now, but I barely even know what I’m looking for.

I’m using the Twenty Thirteen theme. I’m not sure if it’s just too incompatible for someone like me to fix, or if someone could help me.

Also if fixing this theme is too much to ask and I have to start over, are there themes someone could recommend that are natively compatible?
