I deactivated the module and deleted the home page (mobile-home)
After when I reactivated the module and I created another page to replace (mobile-home) the mobile version does not display and it still displays the 404 page in the mobile
the desktop version works without problems

Is there a redirect to add or a synchronization for it to work??

At the same time I got this error message

    ISSUE DETECTED!

Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.

Read here. It can help to understand what is going on.

If it’s still not clear, open a thread on the support forum

I am using wp rocket cache mod
and I checked the separate mobile cache option

    Thanks for your help

    Hi @ahmedamine

Are you sure you have the last version 0.1.9.1? The false issue detection related to the cache of WPRocket should be solved with version 0.1.9.1.

About your main issue, to be honest I’m not sure I’ve understood what you have done.
I assume you want to create the mobile version of the homepage.
Probably, you don’t see anymore the action link “create mobile version” because you created a mobile version that you don’t want anymore, right?
And, this is why you tried to deactivate the plugin, right?
When you simply deactivate the plugin, nothing changes in the database, and if you have pages that are linked to their mobile or desktop versions, you will not disconnect them.
The plugin clears the things that it wrote in the database only when you remove it, not when you simply deactivate it without removing it.

Anyway, you don’t need to remove the plugin to unlink the old mobile versions.

    To unlink the mobile versions:
    – Go to the list of pages
    – Check all the pages that you want to unlink
    – Select the bulk action “Unlink the mobile version”
    – Click on “Apply”

Then, you should see again the action link “Create mobile version”

    I hope it helps.

    Have a great day!

    Jose

    Hello,
I duplicated the home page that I named (home-mobile)
now I want to associate the home-mobile page to the home page
I selected the page but it is still not taken into consideration
when I open the mobile version, I come across the 404 page
    I use the latest version

    Thanks

What do you mean when you say “I open the mobile version”?

    Please, read here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-mobile-pages-are-only-for-backend-and-be-careful-to-the-cache/

Is it clear to you what is written there?

Please, be more detailed; for me, it’s hard to understand what you mean.

    Hello Jose,

I can’t find how to explain my problem without a screenshot

    Here are screenshots https://cloud.nov05.net/index.php/s/FjoA7SQ0sgpWUjP

when I open the link https://novatis-paris.fr on mobile it displays 404!

    Thanks

Thank you very much @ahmedamine !

When I open the screenshot it says “File not found”.

Anyway, if I visit https://novatis-paris.fr on desktop and on mobile I see the same cached version of the page.

I see for example a version of the cache that was generated on 10 Jun 2022 06:52:58 pm, both on mobile and desktop.
So, it looks like the self-debugging is not saying something false about the cache.

    And I don’t see any 404 redirections.

I suggest you clear the cache of your mobile device, or try with a different browser. Let me know if you still see the 404 redirections.

It looks like you have a layer of cache provided by the server, or a CDN. If you have a layer of cache before WPRocket, even if you set up a separate cache for mobile devices, you still have the issue.
I say that, because if I load your homepage on desktop, and then on mobile I see the same cache time. But if I try again refreshing the page after a couple of minutes I see a new cached version. It looks like you have a layer of cache before WPRocket that has an expiration time of some seconds.
You should ask your hosting provider if they can confirm it, and if so, if it’s possible to distinguish between desktop and mobile. If this is not possible, it can’t work right until that layer of cache is active.

    Hello Jose,

Since the WordPress update and the wp-rocket module the mobile cache problem has appeared again

    `ISSUE DETECTED!

Mobile not detected simulating a mobile device.

It looks the page is served by cache but without distinguishing between desktop and mobile.

Read here. It can help to understand what is going on.</blockquote>

I unlinked the mobile page, reinstalled wprocket etc.. but the problem persists
Do you have an update to apply? or any idea how to solve this problem?

    WP Rocket Version 3.12.1.1
Specific Content for Mobile Version 0.1.9.1

    Thanks

    Hello,

I believe the problem is solved
Indeed, it’s because of nginx cache, you have to disable it 🙂

    Thanks
