Hello, can you update the theme and tell me if you still have the issue?
If yes, on what device are you?
    Thank you.

Theme, all plugins are updated. WordPress 4.9 installed. I am testing mobile menu on Acer smartphone using android 5.1.1
I’ve checked 3 sites on my phone with Ocean wp and mobile menu will not work on any of them.

The problem seems to be interaction between Ocean Wp and inbuilt android browser.

    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 5.1.1; Build/LMY47V)
AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari 537.36

If I open the sites using Chrome browser on same device the mobile menu works.
Mobile menus on all my other sites using themes other than Ocean WP work fine on the inbuilt Android browser. I want to move al my sites to Ocean WP but would need them to work with inbuilt Android browser.

Hi, I tried on my smartphone with Android and it works, no problem with the mobile menu link.

I have disabled all pugins and checked for browser update. Problem persists on all 3 sites. Still shows as https://sitename/#

When Ocean Extra is deactivated the hamburger menu dissapears and is replaced with a top bar menu which works

The issue happens on all your site or only your home page?

@pinkbananaweb ok, enable Ocean Extra, then go to Header > Mobile Menu and choose “Default Icon” in “Custom Hamburger Button”.

I’ve tried that with sidebar, dropdown and full screen. No difference it still shows https://sitename/# if pressed. Problem is on all pages.

Have you disabled any scripts or styles in Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles?
If yes, on this page, click Save Changes, clear your cache and tell me if it solves the issue.

You don’t have JS errors in your console and I don’t use a special JS code to open the mobile menu, that is why I don’t understand why you have this issue.
On the two last sites you mention, the mobile menu works for me on my smartphone.
Can you tell me exactly how to reproduce this issue, I will maybe be able to fix it.
    Thank you.

i’ve disabled Elementor and it has not fixed it on grub.ie.
Mobile menu was working on davemurphyauthor.com and organiccoffee.ie both of which were set up on Ocean WP recenty and tested on set up.
    All three sites used Elementor.
I have disabled Elementor on organiccoffee.ie but the problem still exists.
I’m not sure how you can reproduce the error. It seems only to only be a problem on the default Android browser.

If all my sites work perfectly using Chrome on the same device where problems arise with the default Android browser then I must assume the difficulty lies with the way Ocean wp interacts with the browser.
I am sure that there are others who, like me,have set up sites using the theme and tested it and now do not realise that it is no longer working with the defaut Androdid browser.
If there is anything else you want me to try I am more than happy to do so as I think the theme is fantastic.

I have updated OceanWP to solve an issue with the mobile menu link on IOS 9, can you tell me if it solves your issue on the Android browser?

That update worked immediately on one of my sites but not the other two. Having spent a lot of time comparing settings I discovered that using a child theme seems to be a problem. On changing the active theme to Ocean WP instead of the child theme the menu on the other two sites started working. Problem solved as far as I’m concerned. Many Thanks!
