Hello, I have been using the free version of your theme for sometime. While it’s a great theme, I’m facing this strange issue: I have added a menu to the “off canvas” location of the Heading Builder. and when is activated (on mobile view) it appears always expanded; it shows all the parent and child menu items at once, no arrow to click. It’s only a vertical list where the child menu items appear as indents; it looks like a “computer file structure tree”. To add the menu I used the integrated block of the particular location (it allows only a handful of blocks). I noticed, it adds the classic WordPress Navigation Menu widget. I even tried to change the heading type to “flyout” or “collapsible” but it shows the same. Disabling the cache also didn’t help and I even if I deactivate all the third party plugins, the problem insists. All modules are updated to their latest versions. I would appreciate any help because I find this theme ultra convenient for a simple website such as the one I’m working on.
This is a local installation. I’m using the Laragon deployment platform with all modern settings, and all elements (WordPress, plugins, the theme) are also updated. I have attached an image to this post that, I believe, clearly portrays the case. All the menu items appear immediately when you click on the Menu button. There is no “click-to-expand” on the parent menu items. It’s like a tree.
I don’t see any image on your post, actually. Refer to this screenshot, please.
Well, maybe you can share the Astra setting of your site here. I will try to import it on my dev site, and see if I can find any clue. This doc will show you how to do that.
Regarding sharing the file on this forum, you can upload the file to a service like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc then share the link to the uploaded file here. Please make sure the file is publicly accessible.
Please export and share the Astra Settings. I will try to import it on my dev site and see if I am able to reproduce the issue.
In the meantime, as basic troubleshooting, please try to temporarily deactivate all the plugins installed on your site. If it solves the issue, that means there’s a plugin causes the issue.
I replaced the widget with the Off Canvas element, and the menu disappeared completely 😞. Then, I remembered that this was the reason why I initially replaced it with the old-fashioned menu. Because it was showing nothing at all. But, this time I searched more and I found out that you have Visibility options for the responsive states… and when I turned on for the mobile devices the menu appeared as expected 😀. So, consider this my fault. I appreciate your time and effort to help me out. You really deserve a five star 🌟. Thank you!
