 * Trying to do my first giveaway. When viewed on a mobile device, the layout is
not very good as most of the screen is white space and the actual giveaway image
is barely visible at all without scrolling.
 * Are there more layout choices for having less white space or even eliminating
the “count down timers” to preserve space?
 * Also, I would prefer to have the main photo one of the first things seen in the
layout, instead of near the bottom. I tried using a logo, but that gets displayed
at the very top much smaller than the width of the layout.
 * New to this tool and somewhat new to WordPress, should I be trying to use Gutenberg
block or do something with a “shortcode” instead or are these layout options
   not available.
 * FWIW, I’m trying to replace a SaaS service, upviral.com, because it is too expensive
and I don’t use most of their advanced features.
 * I would be willing to buy a Pro license for your plugin as the cost is quite
reasonable, but I don’t need the extra features you currently offer in the Pro
license, but I do want more layout controls and would pay for that.
 * Lastly, in the giveaway settings, there is a choice for “Evergreen” but I can’t
find any documentation that explains what this does.
 * I currently run a giveaway that is a month long, and when it is over, I re-start
it and all existing subscribers are still active in it, so I am very interested
in a true “Evergreen” capability to do this. (Even Upviral, at over $39/month,
does not have an easy evergreen feature yet.)

 * Hi [@rspiv](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rspiv/),
 * the giveaway layout is as simple as possible but I do agree it should be much
better on mobile. Giveaway image is below the text and such so if they are bigger,
it could take a lot of screen as well, so I’ll see if anything can be done here.
 * Maybe, you’ll be better with shortcode since you can then define your page how
you want and use shortcode as a simpler/shorter giveaway.
 * Here you can see (you’ve probably already seen it) a shortcode example: [https://www.wpsimplegiveaways.com/giveaway-shortcode/](https://www.wpsimplegiveaways.com/giveaway-shortcode/)
   where there are 2 images.
 * There are also a lot of settings when using the shortcode that can be viewed
   here: [https://wpsimplegiveaways.com/docs/general/shortcodes/](https://wpsimplegiveaways.com/docs/general/shortcodes/)
 * If you’re using Gutenberg, then the Giveaway block will have the same options
   available in Block options.
 * There are not much layout options in the premium as well except the different
templates and the Elementor integration where you can use parts of the Giveaway
and build your own Giveaway page using Elementor ([https://wpsimplegiveaways.com/docs/integrations/elementor/](https://wpsimplegiveaways.com/docs/integrations/elementor/)).
 * I would recommend to try the shortcode approach first 🙂
 * As for the Evergreen type, it’s a giveaway type that will let everyone in a giveaway
to win once they get to the defined entries (score). That means that by using
extra actions and also inviting others to the giveaway, they will get the extra
entries and thus if they win, it also means that they have given you more subscribers
   to the giveaway.
 * As for what you want here, it’s a different type of giveaway. There is an option
to “clone a giveaway” so most of the settings are still there but the subscribers
are not copied to that giveaway. This could be added as an option in the settings
so when cloning a giveaway, subscribers will also remain there. So you can always
clone the same giveaway having all subscribers there as well. I’ll see to add
   that in the next update.
 * Sorry for the lack of documentation. I have started writing the documentation
but still there is plenty to cover 😀 Since I am the only one working on it,
it takes some time. But happy to answer all the questions until those are answered
   within the documentation 🙂

 * Thanks!
 * I’ve started working with shortcodes and I think that will get me most of the
   way.
 * Yes, better docs would help, but maybe a few more video/screencast walkthroughs
in the meantime as that is often quicker to make than writing a lot of docs.
 * For me, cloning a giveaway with the option to duplicate all subscribers would
work, but I’m ok with just manually resetting the ending time on the last day
before it expires (assuming I can do that) to keep the giveaway running for another
   month.
 * Understand the challenges of an indie dev – have been in those shoes in the past
an currently I’m an indie myself (but in a different industry – smart home systems).
 * I would definitely pay for a premium version that had more options and features
differently that would offer now. Just saying might be another way to get paid
to add features besides the current division between free and pro version.
 * For me, the most important features I would pay for are integration with DRIP
email system and the ability to to let DRIP send out all emails so as each subscriber
signs up, DRIP get’s notified and can send the welcome message. The username,
user email, and unique subscriber id or url is passed to DRIP so a custom welcome
message can be sent. (Haven’t seen how you do integration now, but assuming you
do something like that already, but just not for Drip).
 * Zapier would be ok, but DRIP is ideal for me since that is what I use now.
 * If I may suggest, building blocks, shortcodes, Guttenberg blocks would be best
use of your time instead of building your own layout/WYSIWYG editor for more
layouts. So many layout tools already exist and native to WP that you should
be able to leverage that and not have to build your own?
