If you look at this page on a mobile phone or tablet and scroll to the bottom, the share icons in the footer run off of the screen, and when you swipe left to see them, a white bar appears.

How can I get the icons to appear?
Is there a way to keep the full-width screen on all devices?

I think I should add that this theme is Twenty-Twenty a WP original

    Thanks if you help.

  • HI: Try reducing the screen size.

I’ve done that and there’s no change concerning the width of the pages on mobile devices.

    I’ve managed to solve this.

Reducing the size of the share icons did it and thanks for your help

I do not want to be a nagging b*ch but manually reducing the size should only be considered a temporary solution.

The next user with a smaller screen than yours will probably have the same issue.

Which device and browser are you experiencing the issues with?

The browser is chrome and the device is a smartphone. After reducing the sizes of the icons the ‘view different device screens’ showed as full pages with no scrolling.

would you mind temporarily reverting the sizing changes or would that involve too much effort? I cannot seem to reproduce this on the current state of the page. Even if the icons are too wide for the screen, they wrap around nicely.

I’d like to help you finding a proper solution and maybe suggesting the change to the dev team then.

@raqai I’ve just resized the icons and they are now wrapping around. There’s no white space where as before there was. A bug in the Theme maybe?

I had this issue once in one of my projects using 2020 and I had to add a css rule to fix it.
Maybe you had an outdated version or any plugin is wrapping the icons?

Hmm.. dno… but I am glad it worked out. If you experience this issue again, feel free to link me, I’ll take a look then 🙂

    Cheers
