• Hello there,

I use wp supercache for a very long time but I do not quite understand a setting.

Mobile device support. (External plugin or theme required.) See the FAQ for further details.)

I use a responsive theme, which means that the html and CSS code always stays the same for Mobile and Dektop. Now I wonder if I have to put the hook then at all?

Does anyone know here in the forum advice?

    many Greetings

  • Hello @aironman,

If you activate “Mobile device support” then WPSC will make different cache files (index.html and index-mobile.html). It’s possible that some plugin requires this option if it uses function wp_is_mobile(or other way to detect a mobile device) to send different content (maybe social share plugins or something like this).

Anyway, if you are sure that plugins/theme are responsive then you don’t need to check this option.

    I hope that helps,
    Sasa
