Mobile: Datepicker overlaps content + Radio/Options not clickable for multiple u
-
Hello Forminator Team,
Thank you again for your earlier reply.
I would like to reopen this issue because it is still happening, and it is affecting multiple patients — not just my own device.
There are two main problems:
1️⃣ Radio buttons / selectable options not clickable on mobile
Several patients have reported that certain selectable fields (radio buttons and choice options) are not clickable on their phones.
Although support mentioned that testing on Android did not replicate the issue, I have now had multiple patients experience the same problem on different devices.
So this does not appear to be a single-device issue.
When users tap the options:
- Nothing happens
- The selection does not activate
- It appears as if something is blocking the click
2️⃣ Datepicker calendar overlay problem (z-index / stacking issue)
When users tap the date field:
- The calendar expands
- But it overlaps other page content
- The background text is visible through it
- It appears semi-transparent
- The calendar does not fully block the content underneath
It looks like a stacking context / z-index issue where the datepicker is not properly layered above surrounding elements.
This creates:
- Visual confusion
- Possible click interference
- A broken user experience on mobile
The calendar should:
- Fully appear above other content
- Not allow underlying text to show through
- Not interfere with tapping or scrolling
Additional Information
- This is happening on mobile devices.
- Multiple real patients have encountered it.
- It affects usability and form completion rate.
- It is not isolated to one browser or one phone.
If needed, I can provide:
- Screenshots
- Screen recordings
- The page URL privately
Could you please re-test this carefully with attention to:
- Mobile stacking behavior
- z-index conflicts
- Overlay transparency
- Touch interaction with radio inputs
Thank you very much for your help. I truly appreciate your continued support.
John
