    Hi,

My site is http://www.firelightcoffee.com and the CSS doesn’t seem to load correctly on mobile devices. The banner images are all exploded out, along with the menu, and every image is left-aligned. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  • Hey,
I’m not seeing any issue? What device? I checked on iphone.

Looks fine in my browser and on my Android phone. What mobile device and browser are you using?

Thanks for checking this for me. I checked on iPhone 5. First noticed it through the twitter app browser, then I cleared my mobile safari cache and it happened there too. Here’s what I saw:

Confirmed, it really looks wrong. But it also looks like some of the rules are taken into account by your iPhone, because the menu shows up with a grey background like it’s supposed to.
Did you make any changes to your CSS styles? Because you might have forgotten a semicolon somewhere down the road.

Too bad I have no iPhone 5 to view this in.

No custom CSS.. I just moved the site from a test domain to this one, so maybe that has something to do with it. I’ll reload the original CSS file when I can to see if that helps.

Did it work with your iPhone on the test domain?

Just tried and yes, it looks like the dev server works: dev.atlcoffeeco.com

I copied the CSS folder from the original theme files and it doesn’t seem to have helped. I’m still investigating but I’m not sure what the problem could be.

I *think* it’s fixed- I disabled all of the Jetpack plugins. That was one of the only changes I made between the dev and prod sites. Apparently it enables all kinds of stuff when you activate.. didn’t know that.

Can anyone help me verify that it’s fixed? After clearing my cache and visit the site it appears to be correct. Thanks again for all your help!

I just thought of this. This app allows testing your website on devices that run iOS. iPhone 5 looks good. Responsinator agrees. (Sorry I didn’t think of it earlier; rough day.)
