Don’t know if this is the best forum, but here goes: I have installed and used some of the mobile apps for wordpress for phones, etc. Some sites, such as cnn.com, have a link at the bottom of their mobile app that sez “Full Site” and you click and the entire thing, pix and all, shows up – with a different link (us.cnn…etc.. Can you do that with wordpress? How do you get that link on the bottom of the page for mobile only (it’s not on the “real” site), and I’m assuming that the full site link takes you to a mirror site of the “real” site – which means when you update, you would have two sites to work on. Does this make sense, and any help here?

Have you tried the WP Touch plugin?
At the bottom of that one, there’s a button that allows you to switch the mobile theme off.

I think that the way these apps work is that they only have data for one site, but display different content based on the device that is requesting the content.

Thank you! Checked it out and downloaded the free version, played a bit, and that should fit the bill. I’ll buy the developer’s licensing since we have several sites, the pricing seems reasonable for what it does, more fun to learn something new over the Holidays!
