    Hello,

I just installed Media Library Assistant for my new website.
After the installation, I created a couple Attachment Categories for my images in the library.

I am now trying to create a galley on a page.
Is it possible to use the taxonomy [attachment_gallery] for [gallery] and not [mla_gallery]?

When I try, it recognizes [gallery] but [gallery attachment_category='spacecraft'] displays no images.

    Thank you in advance,
    Tomoya

Thanks for your interest in MLA and for your question.

The WordPress [gallery] shortcode does not recognize any form of taxonomy parameter, because WordPress does not support taxonomies for Media Library items. That’s one reason MLA was created.

The [mla_gallery attachment_category='spacecraft'] shortcode should be working for you. If it does not, can you post the entire source text of the post/page on which it fails? Any additional information you can provide will be helpful.

You can also try [mla_tag_cloud taxonomy=attachment_category] just to confirm that MLA’s shortcodes are working on your site.

It has been a month since my last post in this topic. I assume you have found a solution hat works in your application.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if I can be of any more assistance with this task. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
