 * <p>Hi David,
 * thank you very much for this very best, extraordinary gallery-plugin. I almost
   could solve the most of the problems by scanning other topics of this forum.
 * Actually, the problem is, that I can’t fit the gallery into the 100% width. If
   I put the [mla_alt_shortcode=”gallery], it fits into the container, but then,
   the pics are not responsive any more.
 * You can try the Gallery by your own:</p>

 * <p>Thank you in advance!
 * Yours,
 * Michael</p>

 * Thank you for the positive feedback and for your question. Thanks as well for
   the link to your site’s gallery page; very helpful. I want to make sure I understand
   the problem you are trying to solve.
 * You wrote “**_fit the gallery into the 100% width_**” and “**_fits into the container_**“.
   I understand this to mean that you always get a maximum of three images per row,
   even if the browser window is very wide; is that right?
 * If so, you might get a better result by adding `columns=0` to your shortcode.
   By default, MLA divides the gallery into rows of three images and inserts `<br
   style="clear: both" />` after the third image to start a new row. Adding the
   column parameter will stop that. You may have to add some styles (or markup)
   to your items to set the width or maximum width.
 * It looks like you have already discovered custom style templates and are using
   one on your gallery page. You can also use a custom markup template to remove
   the “row close” markup or to compose the gallery in a different way.
 * You might also find something helpful in the earlier topic:
 * [Can the gallery be made responsive?](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/can-the-gallery-be-made-responsive/)
 * I hope the above suggestions are useful. I will leave this topic unresolved until
   I hear back from you to clarify your question or to help you through any problems
   or further questions you have. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

   were helpful and you have found a solution that works for your application.
 * I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if I can give you any
   additional help. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
