Mixture of poll, survey and discussion

    After checking pretty much every poll or survey plugin I could find, free and premium, I still can’t find what I’m looking for. Would anyone here have come across this elusive dream pollsurveydiscussion if such a thing exists? :
    – a text question with radio button response options
    – a text box for users to fill with the reason for their specific response (or other comments)
    – a graphic display of results (pie chart, bar chart etc.),
    – comments displayed somewhere in a way the reader can see what way the commenter voted.

    This is for a site where sharing experiences is key. I have seen other sites that have a question of the day, but when users comment after the poll, the reader is confused because you don’t know what response they are commenting about.

    I’d really appreciate any ideas.

    I think you could put this together using Formidable Pro — it has the ability to do survey type forms, and shortcodes to display priory responses as text and graphs. They also have excellent support.

    Given all that, you’ll probably still need to do some extensive programming to get all the features you want.

    Most of the big boys seem to use third-party survey sites like surveymonkey.com, this is probably the route I would take, why re-invent the wheel?
