Mixed images and video gallery with lightbox?

Hi all

(I’ve posted this in another section but then realised this is a more appropriate place for the post)

I’ve just switched to Worpdress 3.6 and using the default 2013 theme. I need a gallery that will show a mix of thumbnails of images and videos from various sources from uploaded images/video to images from flickr and video from youtube/vimeo.

When a user clicks on a thumbnail it should open the image or video in a lightbox. From the thumbnails it should be shown which links are images and which are videos.

I’ve looked at NextGen Gallery but it seems it can only do images. Can the standard wordpress install do what I want or is there some kind of free plugin I can install?

I’m not a coder but I don’t mind changing the odd line of code here and there, however I would like to keep any coding to a minimum.
