Mixed Feelings

I have extremely mixed feelings about this plugin. On one hand, I like the plugin and what it offers. On the other hand, it comes across as rather presumptuous. I am sick of having advertising rammed down my throat.

I know advertising can be a necessary evil when it comes to maintaining any free service. I already use advertising on my blog, but that is -my- choice and I have full control over the advert content I allow on my website. It’s incredibly annoying to log onto my website to check something and find an unwanted, unrelated advert present in a conspicuous place.

I understand that the logistics would make it impossible for them to notify all users of the new advertising features, but I do not understand why it is an opt out service when it should be opt in.
