• Ok, so we’ve recently installed a certificate on our website as well as activated the SSL plugin here at WordPress. The problem that we have is that some of our pages are not fully secure because some images are not served over HTTPS. The issue here though is that when we’re looking for those images, they’re not even on site. I checked the file manager and made a backup, however those images are not there.

We get the following error messages: https://pasteboard.co/HZtb1MN.png

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    From your home page,

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://spinalbalance.dk/en/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://spinalbalance.dk/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/background.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Given the name of that file, I strongly suspect you’ll find the reference in one of your CSS files or in your theme’s settings.

    Hello Steven

I have gone through every single file in my database searching for the name of that image. Absolutely no trace of it. Any suggestions?

Install the plugin “string locator” and see if it can find “background.png”.

Thank you so much. It was quite sneaky and hid itself VERY well.

EDIT: it only seemed to work on the English pages, but not on the Danish pages. That’s odd because I removed those lines as well on the Danish pages. Any idea of why this would happen, @sterndata?
