 * Hi,
 * I’m currently running WP 4.3.4 and have recently installed SSL onto my site using
   the Really Simple SSL plugin installer. This is working great, as long as one
   of my plugins “Visual Composer” isn’t enabled. When Visual Composer is enabled,
   it pulls two assets: “close.png” and “loading.gif” through http instead of https
   on every page I have. This is very unfortunate since it’s making my site look
   insecure and I’ve tried the following:
 * – Installing different HTTPS/SSL insecure content fixers
    – Trying to modify
   the database links, using both various search and replace plugins but also manual
   checks – Tried deleting these assets from the WP installation (sorry, I was desperate
   at this point, still didn’t help though)
 * I’m asking this as a general question and not only related to this particular
   plugin, but how can fix the http to https paths once I located an insecure asset?
 * All the best,
    Marcus

 * May I ask why you are running WordPress 4.3.4? That is quite an old version…What
   version of VC are you using? It could be a compatibility issue. You should always
   run the latest version of WP.

 * Apologies, two things:
 * – I put the wrong version, I’m actually running 4.9.4
    – Secondly I just managed
   to fix it. VS had inserted some corrupted code after I installed the SSL plugin.
   After I removed this everything is working again.
 * Cheers and thanks for coming back to me.
