I use YOURLS Link Creator to create shortlinks for “the_shortlink” or “wp_get_shortlink”.
Also I use WP-Filebase as Download-Manager. For every file, there is an extra file page, which is a special post-type.
I’m not able to see that posts through WordPress Posts-Manager. Therefore I’m not able to do an manual update for the YOURLS links. For some file pages there was created a YOURLS link, but that link wasn’t stored to WordPress. Therefore, that file page has no shortlink.
Good file page: https://www.blackseals.net/download/grossglockner-tour_2011-kmz/
Bad file page: https://www.blackseals.net/download/springdrive_2013-kmz/
How I’m able to fix that? Please for help.
Maybe it would be a nice feature request, that if I use “Use the YOURLS link wherever wp_shortlink is fired”, that the YOURLS link should only showed, if there is one. If there is no YOURLS link, then it should show the WordPress Shortlink….
