# Missing WordPress 3.0 upgrade notification

 * Usually I would get an upgrade notification of the new WordPress version but 
   3.0 does not show in the admin panel. I would like to upgrade to 3.0.
 * Any help would be helpful.

 * This is what I get when I try to go to:/wp-admin/update-core.php
 * You have the latest version of WordPress. You do not need to upgrade. However,
   if you want to re-install version 2.9.2, you can do so automatically or download
   the package and re-install manually:

 * Did you try to reinstall 2.9.2 then try for 3.0?

 * wpbum: since I went the wp-admin/update-core.php and then went back to the this
   page again, I’m now getting the 3.0 upgrade notification. Something was stuck
   I guess and for some crazy reason the notification was not showing.
