Fortunately the widgets have not disappeared but they are showing at the bottom of the page.
Some edits to the CSS file were made which has pushed the sidebar below the main content of the page. Please update on the changes made.
If you can post the CSS file code in pastebin that would helpful as well.
Not to worry this can be fixed.
your site has a lot of html validation errors:
some of which are very likely to distort the layout of a site, such as ‘Stray end tag div’.
these errors can be in the template files or within the content of the posts.
for instance, check the content of ‘Beyond Your Blog – ABEA’ for matched opening/closing divs.
use the html mode of the post editor…
Sorry there is no need to post the CSS code in pastebin. I can access it (I guess it is pretty late for me in the night)!
Agree with @alchymyth. I also feel the errors need to be fixed first before going further.
Ok. I am still a novice at WordPress.
This issue has only arisen today. I have made no changes to the site structure, so I am not sure what I would “undo.”
How are these errors arising? I usually post directly from WordPress itself. And how would I go about fixing them and preventing them?
I have made no changes to the site structure
therefore my comment, to look for the errors in the content of the latest posts.
anyway, you seem to have fixed the error(s), as I can see the sidebar in the right position.
if you are working with the visual editor and using copy/paste, it is not always easy to totally avoid these errors; hopefully you now know more how to correct the errors if this problem occurs again.
is this is all sorted, please mark this topic as ‘resolved’ – thanks.
