# Missing variable?

 * Hi.
 * Your plugin seems like a good idea, if I could get it to work.
 * “The specified GeoIP database file is outside the WordPress directory and thus
   not allowed for security reasons.”
 * No matter what I do, the plugin never acknowledges the location of the GeoIP 
   database file that I am trying to save. I dug into the code and do not find that
   the following value of $input is ever set in this function:
 *     ```
       public static function geoip_database_path_validate( $input ) {
        ...
       }
       ```
   
 * so the value of the file path is never accounted for. Is this a bug?
 * I’m using Version: 0.6.4
