Missing testimonials block?

    I recently have been migrating my website to a new host, I got everything reinstalled all my pages setup properly except for the side bar, where I kept the testimonials for artwork I have done.

    On my old site I used the testimonial block which worked fantastically – now when I search for that block its completely missing. I tried rolling back to 2.2.2, reinstalled, everything but the block is still gone.

    When I check the documentation it still mentions the testimonial block being included… am I missing something?

    Hey @thatstevenrice,

    We recently removed the Testimonials block as it was not really a block but a container that had other blocks added to it without providing much options for customization.

    We have migrated those to Patterns of different styles, so if you see the new Otter Patterns from the Inserter and see if you like those instead.

    If not then you can open your old site and Copy the Testimonials block and paste it to the new website and it will still work.

    Haha, the way block editor allows us to deprecate blocks is weird. You can still use the old block but you can’t add it again. Let us know how it goes.
