# Missing Temporary Folder

 * when i try to upload a picture into a post i get an error stating “missing temporary
   folder”. all of the ‘solutions’ that i’ve read about go way over my head or don’t
   work when i try. can someone explain in simple terms or point me to a service/
   someone who can fix the error for me?

 * Easiest thing to do is talk to the webhost; that’s a webhhosting server error
   probably only they can fix. Your host appears to be Yahoo? Check with them first.

   can’t do the work yourself, consider looking for a reputable person on [http://jobs.wordpress.net/](http://jobs.wordpress.net/)
   or [http://directory.codepoet.com](http://directory.codepoet.com) or [http://upwork.com](http://upwork.com)
