Missing Subscribers and plugin

    When I received Yoast’s email telling me of a bug, I deactivated the plug-in; even though I was running the latest version. (I am not a techie, so never went into files as was not sure how to do so) anyway after leaving it for some time and finding nothing wrong with my site I went into plugins to reactivate Mail-Poet. Only to find that it had gone, yes completely vanished as had my subscribers. (I DID NOT DELETE THESE FILES) What’s to do?

    Is there a file / s that can be restored from my backups? (I backup with Updraft Plus as well as on my host site.) That will bring back the subscribers and also the newsletter plugin that has the newsletter stats etc…?

    I do not want to restore the whole thing as this I think will override later posts and comments – ???

    Can you help please as losing subscribers is a disaster for me?
