You probably have uploaded it to the wrong directory. It’s a common error.
Most likely, you’ve uplaoded the one folder to wp-content/themes/wp-andreas04….but if you actually look at your file structure, it’ll be in wp-content/themes/wp-andreas04/wp-andreas04. If that’s the case, then you need to move your files up a level.
I know what you mean but in this case it’s not the case. I think what’s happened is that andreas04 is not compatible with wp2.1.2. It’s such a shame because I loved that theme. I installed Andreas09 instead. It’s nice but I miss Andreas04.
Is there anything I can do?
Compatibility won’t make a stylesheet go missing.
If you look in your Andreas04 directory do you see style.css?
Oh yes. It’s just that with 2.1.2 that theme does not work the way it should. That’s all. I can’t even find it in the list of themes in the theme directory.
I’m thinking I have to stick to 2.07 if I want to use Andreas04.
Just to explain myself, I downloaded Andreas04 from Andrea’s website. A lot of the files were missing. I’ve sent him an email. I wonder if he’ll respond.

Andreas was the original designer, but I’m pretty sure he’s not the one who converted his design to WordPress.
How about this version? http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/3-columns/97/andreas04-10/
Oh this is the one allright. Will it work with 2.1.2, I wonder?
Thank you.
Wow, that’s the one. Looks like someone did an upgrade on it. It’s now Andreas04-20.
I’m ever so grateful. Thank you
