# Missing Sitemap.xml

 * Hi,
 * I get a 404 error when trying to access the sitemap url. I am using nginx (I 
   don’t think EasyEngine), and have no .htaccess file. I have resaved permalink
   settings and Nginx does have this:
 * location / {
    try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args ; }

 * Hmmm, it seems I can reach the sitemap if I add a trailing slash, i.e. /sitemap.
   xml/, so likely a server configuration issue. I’ll check with my host, unless
   you have any other ideas?

 * Thanks for forwarding this issue. It made me decide to rewrite the sitemap integration,
   so it’ll always work from the next update:

 * I’m glad you’ve found that the trailing slash works! I didn’t even think of that,
   awesome!
 * For now, you’ll want to sign up with Google Search Console, and submit your sitemap
   with the trailing slash; so they’ll know where to find it.
