  • Hi Sam,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with adding the shipping details to your product feed.

Our plugin is able to add the Shipping Zones and Shipping Methods you configured in WooCommerce to your feeds. This however will only work when you have configured your shipping costs the official WooCommerce way. See: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/

When you did you can add those to your Google Shopping feed by creating this field mapping: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3fl4tlcjn3rk12v/shipping-mapping.png?dl=0

Due to the complex nature of the shipping implementation Google requires your field mapping won’t work.

    Hope this makes sense?

    All the best,
    Eva

Hello there, I am having the same issue. I followed all steps of the above tutorial (shipping zone has been set up) but the plugin still does not pick up the weight. Please help! many thanks

    Hi szch,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out.

Just to be clear, are you trying to add the shipping costs/rates to your feed or are you trying to add the shipping weight to your feeds? Both are fundamentally different.

When you are trying to add the shipping costs/rates to your feed you need to follow the steps as explained in this blog post: https://adtribes.io/add-shipping-costs-google-shopping-feed/

When you are trying o add the g:shipping_weight to your feed (so this one: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324503?hl=en) then you need to add the following field mapping in your feed configuration:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/08u16uq2xngfuos/shipping_weight.png?dl=0

Bear in mind, in the right drop-down you need to select the attribute that holds your shipping weight values.

    Hope this makes sense?

    All the best,
    Eva

Hello Eva, thank you for your reply.

I am trying to add the g:shipping_weight to my feed. I set up the shipping zones in Woocommerce, and the delivery services in the Merchant Center. When I add the field as indicated in your above message nothing shows up in the feed. I can see this in the download, it just shows: <g:shipping/>

Instead of: <g:shipping_weight>3 kg</g:shipping_weight> (this is an example, each of my products have their own weight)

In a nutshell, the feed does not display the mapped field at all.

Could it be that the plugin has a bug?

    Thank you

    Hi szch,

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I still don’t understand what is you are trying to add. The <g:shipping> and <g:shipping_weight> are two different fields.

Would you be so kind as to send us your plugin debug.log? It will help us understand how you have configured your product feed. Instructions on how to retrieve the debug.log can be found here: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

    Thanks!
    Eva
