Missing Screen Options Tab

    Are there different versions of WordPress for different themes? I have been working on my aunt’s site and her WordPress is much more user friendly than mine. Also, she has the Screen Options tab that I do not have. How do I get access to this tab?

    Depending on the theme you have installed the theme author may have seen fit to disable the Screen Options tab.

    Though this is not an advisable way to build themes, it is possible and does happen.
