• Over the weekend I came across a product image issue on a WooCommerce site. I am using the Jupiter theme. This site has been live for about seven months now with zero issues. If you take a look at the site here you will see a large blank white space to the left with a small thumbnail image.

Everything on the page is working except the featured Product Image is missing and the small thumbnail image floated to the top of the page. I tried to expect the element but the lightbox that once held the product image is missing entirely.

I am on a deadline to solve this issue so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

  • Jupiter Theme is a commercial theme and WPORG does not provide support for commercial themes, we recommend you contact the theme author for support here.

I already emailed them and they said the problem I was having was because of WooCommerce.

If I am understanding correctly the thumbnail should be there or it shouldn’t be a thumbnail at all? Have you made sure the featured images are still located physically on the hosting server?

Got the same problem using Flatsome. Thumnail for product will not load in product details or in featured. Other Product data loads but not the main thumbnail. I am new to this-almost 70- and stumped. Any help appreciated

So the thumbnail image is supposed to be displayed below the main image. The main image is 700x700px so its hard to miss. But for some reason when I set the featured image on the back end of wordpress it shows that its working. But when I update the page and view it it’s clearly missing and were just seeing the set product gallery image which is supposed to be as small as it is.

All of the images are loaded and set. I just checked the backend on the server and everything is there. Nothing on the site was ever moved.

Today I tried to disable the W3 Total Cache plugin but that didn’t work. Then I tried reuploading the image and still nothing.

With WooCommerce being a plugin I’d suggest your best method of action to be to contact the plugin author or post on the plugin support section.
